Competitors and (guardians of competitors) if under the age of 18, should note that they compete at their own risk. We will not accept any claims for injuries or illness sustained by competitors during the competition or during warm up. If you enter the Competition, the participant assumes all liability. Loss, theft or damage to anyone’s belongings during the South Of England Competition is the responsibility of the individual and not of the organisers of the South of England Championships.
If the South Of England Competition has live television coverage, live internet streaming or photography, all competitors and (guardians of Competitors) under the age of 18 agree that the rights of any fees from such recording will be the property of the organisers of the event and no individual have any claim to this.
Entry to the event must be paid when entering, with the fee being non-refundable or transferable from when the payment is made.
Deadline for entries is the 1st March 2024. Entries cannot and will not be altered after the deadline. If you register and pay packages early you will receive the best rate. If the Hotel booking is made personally by the participant we, the organisers are not responsible for any charges, cancellations or changes related to your own booking.
Packages and all dance entries need to be paid in full before the deadline date. Payment has to be made by bank transfer to the bank details provided in the invoice given. The amount on the invoice is what is due at the time of invoice being processed, if you do not pay until later the organisers have the right to charge the higher rate for paying late. The early bird rate can only apply if registration and payments are made in the correct period. Please note credit cards are not accepted as a method of payment.
Once entered, refunds for either the Packages or Dance entries are not possible. If there was an agreement to make a cash payment on arrival due to technical issues, a no show still means full payment must be provided in any case by bank transfer no later than 7 days after the competition. If the debt is not paid we reserve the right to not register you for future South of England events until the debt has been sorted.
The organisers of the South Of England Championships do not accept any liability for damages to the Winchester Guild Hall. If costs to repair damages are involved it will need to be paid by the individual.
Only food purchased in the Guild Hall will be Permitted.
